Fiorentina goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano insists they are ‘more aware of what awaits us’ in the Conference League Final against Olympiacos, having lost last year to West Ham United.

“It is certainly emotional, but our own thoughts are to give these people immense joy. They deserve it, as they made such a long journey and always shower us with affection,” Terracciano told Sky Sport Italia.
Fiorentina have Final experience now
The Viola are back in the Europa Conference League Final for the second season in a row, having lost 2-1 to West Ham United in Budapest last year.
They had also lost the Coppa Italia Final to Inter a year ago too.
“In terms of approach, we are more aware of what awaits us and the tension of the moment. The focus is entirely on the field and bringing the cup back to Florence. We have this huge desire for redemption, we know how painful defeat is, we know what we are capable of and how good the opponents are.”
Olympiacos started the season in the Europa League and dropped down via the preliminary round in February, but went on to eliminate Aston Villa in the semi-final.
It is practically a home game for Olympiacos, as it is staged in Athens, albeit in the stadium of their arch-rivals AEK.
There are 30,000 Fiorentina fans who are packed into the Stadio Artemio Franchi back home to watch the Final together on the big screens.
