Some Juventus fans have reported frightening encounters with groups of Sevilla ultras in the build-up to their Europa League semi-final second leg.

The Bianconeri stole a 1-1 draw with the Spanish outfit in the first clash after a 97th minute equaliser from Federico Gatti, keeping the two teams level for the decisive match tonight.

The winner of this Europa League semi-final will face the winner of Bayer Leverkusen-Roma in the final, meaning an all-Italian affair could be on the cards should the two Serie A teams impress this evening.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, some Juventus fans have discussed scary scenes whilst waiting for the Europa League semi-final to kick off, with a large number of Sevilla ultras reportedly lurking near the Nervion Plaza, searching for Bianconeri supporters.

Well-known Juventus youtuber ColpoGobbo, in the Spanish city for the match, recounted a frightening incident involving some Sevilla ultras, explaining how he and his friends had to take refuge in the houses of locals in order to avoid a possibly violent confrontation.

A strong police presence will be felt at the match and the authorities will also escort the Juventus fans to the away section of the stadium.
