Roma full back Rick Karsdorp showed up in Trigoria today, responding to Jose Mourinho’s summons.

Things have been tense in the Italian capital for the 27-year-old Dutch right back, who was accused of being unprofessional and invited to leave the club in January by the Portuguese coach. Karsdorp did not join his teammates for their training retreat to Japan and a departure in the coming transfer window seems likely.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Karsdorp arrived at Roma’s training ground in Trigoria today, joining his teammates for their preparations ahead of the second half of the season.

In the coming days, the Dutch full back will sit down with the Giallorossi management to discuss his position and future at the club.

It will be made clear to the 27-year-old and his entourage that he’ll only be sold in January should a fair offer arrive, leaving him in a difficult position.

Karsdorp joined Roma in 2017 and is contracted to the club until 2025.
