“This is a great club. I came because I have a lot of faith in [Coach Roberto] Mancini, this is a big challenge.
“I have great confidence in my ability, and I’m happy to be back with Felipe Melo.
“I’m a player who knows his responsibility as a defender first and foremost. But one of my characteristics is providing crosses and going beyond the last man.
“I know that defence in Italy is important, so I have to acknowledge the importance of tactics, but also my attacking characteristics.
“I’m fine, I can play, if Mancini wants me then I’m available immediately.”
Telles also discussed his departure from Galatasaray, and admits he’s targeting a Brazil call-up.
“Everything has happened very quickly in my life, I’m 22-years-old and I’m already at Inter. It’s the proof of good work, but I have to show that every day.
“I need to improve and grow, and I’m sure I can do that with players like Melo and a Coach like Mancini.
“I see myself in the Brazilian national team in future.”
