Inter could reportedly take Roger Martinez or Alex Teixeira, rather than Ramires, from Jiangsu Suning in January.

Both clubs are owned by Suning Group, and last winter saw Trent Sainsbury join the Nerazzurri on loan to provide defensive cover.

It was been widely reported that Ramires could arrive in a similar arrangement, with the Chinese Super League not due to start until March.

While five foreign players can be registered by a club, only three are allowed to play in a match.

Currently Jiangsu Suning have Sainsbury, Ramires, Teixeira, Martinez and Benjamin Moukandjo on their books.

The club are not willing to weaken their midfield or defence, so it’s thought one of Teixeira or Martinez will be allowed to move to Italy on loan.

It will therefore be up to Inter Coach Luciano Spalletti to decide if he wants Teixeira as a trequartista, or Martinez as a backup to Mauro Icardi.
