Juventus and Atalanta had tried to sign him, but teenage Italian talent Guido Della Rovere is heading to Bayern Munich from Cremonese.
The creative midfielder just turned 17 earlier this month and has represented Italy at Under-15 and Under-16 level.
Considered one of the most promising young players in the Peninsula, he had been linked with Juve and Atalanta, who wanted to use him in their youth teams playing in Serie C.
However, Bayern Munich proved more convincing for both the player and Cremonese.
Ajax had also made an approach for Della Rovere over the summer.
He was introduced to the senior Cremonese squad and already made one Serie B appearance this season.
