President of the Italian National Olympic Committee has offered comment on the Italian Football Federtaion President’s meeting with the Azzurri CT, which is underway this evening.
Rumours of a resignation are abound, whilst Conte has commented heading into the meeting that 'nothing needs to happen' and that it is about organising Italy’s pre-Euro 2016 training camp.
But for Malago, the indication is that the meeting is about reassuring the current Coach.
“I have spoken with Tavecchio – we didn’t discuss the details, but it seems to me that the will is there to reassure Conte,” Malago has told reporters this evening.
“I don't even know how much distance there is between the parts. I hope none.”
