“We have the utmost respect for the side that reached the Europa League Final last season. We simply have to do what we know so well. Last season was an excellent campaign, we must continue on that path and give a sign from tonight.
“We had also said the same in Frankfurt, yet we lost that game badly. Tonight we need to pick up at least a point.
“The reasons for our problems are varied. We’ve never really been a complete squad since the start of the season, due to the World Cup and some injuries.
“We’re in a decent position right now, but realise we’ve got to do far better and send a signal.”
