Garcia also suggested the Aquile had “cried and whined” to get decisions going their way.
“I don’t even want to comment, as I thought it was a bit over the top. The tension of the derby can lead to these things, but it’s nothing worrying,” Tare told Sky Sport Italia.
“We both know there is a lot to play for and we’re at a stage of the season we’ve wanted from the start of the campaign.
“Roma were considered to be one of the main Scudetto contenders, whereas Lazio have had a great season and want to end the campaign on home turf with three points.
“Who is stronger? We will see on the field today. I hope so, as the team is in good shape, but we are not so arrogant as to assume we are stronger than Roma.
“We know our qualities and that it is with humility and hard work that we reached this point. Now we want to stay here.”
