“For some reason, the deal was not finalised and Caicedo stayed. We are very happy about it and I can confirm he hasn’t spoken with me about a possible move to Fiorentina, he is going to stay here.”

The Biancocelesti host Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico this evening.

“It’s a big opportunity that can boost our team-spirit. We’ve been speaking a lot this week, with the coch and the staff, analysing all the mistakes we've done so far. Right now, the team want to be the same one we witnessed last season and during the current Champions League campaign.”

Lazio have had the worst Serie A start in the Simone Inzaghi era with 18 points in 12 games but qualified for the last 16 stage of the Champions League for the first time in 20 years.
