Former Juventus midfielder Marco Tardelli had his say on the Bianconeri’s poor start to the season after their recent loss to Milan.

The Bianconeri’s defeat was another frustrating blow for Allegri and his players, leaving them to quickly pick up the pieces ahead of a vital Champions League clash against Maccabi Haifa. The Old Lady have lost four of their opening 12 games across all competitions and discontent is rapidly growing in Turin, putting pressure on both the management and the players.

Speaking via Corriere dello Sport, Tardelli first drew issue with the work of Juventus’ management following their sluggish start to the campaign.

“There are moments and Juve are doing badly in this one. Above all, there’s a silence from the club that I don’t like. They are not calm, the coach is not calm. I think the club no longer trust in Allegri.”

He did not expect Allegri to be dismissed just yet, however.

“No, he’s a little more protected, let’s say.”

Finally, Tardelli discussed Allegri’s return to Juventus last year and if that was a good decision.

“I knew it would be difficult, but I like Allegri because he is sanguine, he’s someone who looks after his own. Unfortunately this year and also last year he went wrong

“The problem is in the players’ heads. It’s probably Allegri’s fault too, but they’re not convinced and don’t follow what the coach says. This is probably the problem.”

Juventus cannot afford to lose to Maccabi Haifa as they desperately fight for a spot in the Champions League Round of 16. They currently sit four points behind both Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica.

  1. Marco needs to pipe down. How dare he besmirch Tai Chi 2.0, 360 revolutions calcio Max with his 1G fiesta. The Allegrisaurus is an xmas tree master and brought us Roberto King Carlos Sandro and bricklayer Cafu Danilo is his wingman. Dusan also needs to CALMAAA!!! He is being quietly converted into a fine offensive defender and not touching the ball is a good thing. He can now wonder and see for himself what North London could have offered him.

  2. @Lord LOLLLLLL throw away any credibility you have left by admitting to being a full blooded ignorant American. Go watch hand-egg and call it football, you’re a far way from home boy. The home of the philosophy about who came first, the chicken or the egg and the ancient question of why the chicken crossed the road. The comfort of knowing anything can be fried, canned or microwaved. Much like your re-heated comments on this page by the way.

  3. LOLLL the clown does not even realise that I’m a based Latino. The illiberals cannot have that. How dare a minority have a view unless it fits her avocado on toast, soy latte world view. Come let me sponsor you. I can save you from your third world country and you can be my biaaaaatch.

  4. @May 5th 2002 Man, wether you agree or not, reheated or not, you gotta admit that those comments are hilarious.
