Reports in the Italian media suggest a final decision to sack Benitez could arrive later today.

Meanwhile, Benitez is back in England spending Christmas with his family. The former Liverpool manager has even enrolled his daughter Claudia at a local school.

Banners appeared on the gates at Anfield last night, imploring Rafa to return to the club.

In the meantime, Leonardo is the favourite to replace him at Inter.
