“I don’t think that he will leave Milan,” agent Mickael Coker told footmercato.net when questioned on the speculation.

“Taye will fight until the very end to win the faith of Coach Massimiliano Allegri and the club directors.”

French club Lyon have been paired with the defender, but his representative feels a switch to the Premiership is more likely should an Italy exit be confirmed.

“I don’t think that he wants to return to France, however there are a number of English clubs on him.”
