Roma’s Rodrigo Taddei is refusing to reveal what the Giallorossi’s objective for the season ahead is.

“It’s too soon to be talking about the Scudetto,” the Brazilian noted on Wednesday afternoon. “We just have to improve.

“Our target is to focus on our next game which is against Udinese” data-scaytid=”5″>Udinese. It’ll be tough as they are a team who play great football.”

Taddei, 31, has found first team opportunities hard to find under new boss Luis Enrique, but he was used against Lecce in a left-back role.

“I look to just be ready when asked to play,” the former Siena midfielder continued. “Luis Enrique tells everyone to be prepared as he could turn to anyone.”

The former Palmeiras man, who has made three Serie A appearances this term, was also asked for his thoughts on Daniele De Rossi’s contract situation.

“I hope he stays,” he continued. “I know that he wants to remain. After so many years of being a teammate, he’s now a friend too.”

The Italian international is only contracted to the capital club until June 2012 and talks regarding an extension have stalled over personal terms.
