Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi has no doubts as to why Dusan Vlahovic is struggling to score as much in Turin as he did in Florence.

The 22-year-old Serbian forward joined the Bianconeri in a deal worth around €80m total in the January transfer window, being a statement signing by Juventus. The club hope that he’ll be the leading figure in their post-Cristiano Ronaldo era, but things have started off a little lacklustre for Vlahovic, whose goal average has undoubtedly dropped following the move.

Speaking to SportMediaset, Tacchinardi discussed Vlahovic’s recent form and why he struggles to score as much for Juventus.

“Simply because of Juventus’ way of playing, the team doesn’t put him in a position to score goals at the moment. Juventus don’t create chances and play badly, so the best striker in the league doesn’t get to shoot on goal.”

The 22-year-old Vlahovic scored 17 goals in 22 league appearances this season for Fiorentina. Since making the move to Turin, the Serbian striker has scored six goals in 12 league appearances, struggling to replicate his previous prolific form.

Many fans are unhappy with Massimiliano Allegri’s tactical decisions and hope that something changes over the next few months.

  1. Tacchinardi is right but he didn’t said anything about Allegri as a tactitian.

Juve needs another style of play and to do so, new players should come.

  2. Negative play with those avaliable. Shows no real trust in the supporting cast and defence is a old as time itself. Next season will be the test when max can recruit and those injured return. Forza Juve.

  3. He’s scoring 0.58 goals per 90 minutes at Juve and was scoring 0.58 goals per 90 at Fiorentina as well (penalties excluded). So it’s exactly the same…

  4. Same thing happened with Ronaldo in his first season. The worst stats of his entire career and spearheaded by @Debu Allegri, supreme fan girl leader.

  5. If Allegri has the cojones to complain about his resources at hand when winning 2-1 against Venezia at home or drawing/losing/barely winning with other bottom half table opponents, then he shouldn’t be coaching in football. Half-legged Juve should play better

  6. I think an idiot somewhere can’t stop thinking of me. Poor little sad guy. The guy who forcing himself to watch football game that he dislikes. Hopeless .. 🤣🤣🤣

  7. Some stats :

Individually, Allegri won the Panchina d’Oro (Golden Bench) four times (2009, 2015, 2017 and 2018) and was four times Serie A Coach of the Year (2011, 2015, 2016 and 2018), as well as being awarded the Enzo Bearzot Award (2015) and inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame (2018). He is also the only coach in Italian football history to have won five Scudetti and four Coppa Italia titles consecutively, and the only one in Europe’s top five leagues to have won a domestic double for four consecutive seasons.

  8. Ah Deburah the clown and PhD fan girl I never addressed you before but finally had to son as you kept calling me out. It is okay, since nobody cares for you I can give you 5 seconds. Careful you formed a few sentences and better not over work the tiny brain cells or you might wet your bed tonight. A clown that always posts 3 emojis and laughs at his jokes. CRINGE. What is supposed to be your batman calling card… No need to watch PhD Max games. I fall asleep after 3 minutes even quicker then your mother.

  9. allergi will only lead juve to the total demolition
I am a huge fans of juve but really tired and upset with the way they play in every game

Hope allergi has more self awareness and resign immediately
The only reason why juve management did not sack him because of agnelli has just given him lucrative contract and will be a huge blow for juventus to terminate allergi contract now

  10. I would be very happy if Pocchetino comes in. Juventus needs a good foreign coach. They are one the biggest club in Europe. And I also would like to see more Italian players Juve.

  11. Vlahovic looked like 40 yo player when against Venezia. Man’s face was full of regret. The reality slowly sets in and he seem starting to realize what a huge mistake he’s done to his career. He will try next season but he is free falling. I always never wanted him at Juve only because this move would be suicidal.. but lesson’s learned I think. Hopefully he move on quickly.
