Wojciech Szczesny wants to close out his career with Juventus and isn’t interested in leaving this summer, despite the imminent arrival of Michele Di Gregorio.

Bianconeri sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has already started quickly moving ahead of the summer transfer window, keen to snap up the club’s targets before their rivals can get their foots in the door.

Juventus have already agreed a deal with Monza for Di Gregorio, willing to pay €18m plus €2m in add-ons for the talented Italian goalkeeper. The Old Lady are now hoping to shift Szczesny this summer and have received some interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Szczesny is convinced that he can retain his starting spot at Juventus, despite the imminent arrival of Di Gregorio. His family feels at home in Turin and aren’t interested in leaving the city for a transfer this summer.

The Polish shot stopper has already told his plans to his Bianconeri teammates, leaving Giuntoli with a tough task ahead as he looks to convince the 34-year-old to leave in the coming months.
