Wojciech Szczesny has been arguably the best goalkeeper of the World Cup so far in Qatar, but the Juventus man also proved he’s an excellent Daddy after comforting his child over Poland’s elimination.

Szczesny performed heroics in goal for his country, including the denial of two penalties, but was unable to prevent France from securing a 3-1 victory in the Round of 16 this afternoon.

There was no time for him to feel bad about their elimination, as he immediately had to focus on comforting his young child in the tunnel, who was crying at the news of defeat for Poland.

  1. Have to admit Tek has been excellent in Qatar and maybe this is to do with being thousands of miles away from bacteria Max. One of the honourable players at the 7/9 and good to see him grown into a fine man from his days at Arsenal.
