Both Chelsea and Manchester United are strongly interested in the Dutchman and have already held talks with his agent Rafaela Pimenta. The pink paper reports, Inter would consider a swap deal involving former Milan defender Dalot, but it remains to be seen if the Red Devils will offer their defender a new contract beyond 2024.

According to Gazzetta, the Portugal international isn’t Inter’s only option to replace Dumfries.

Club Brugge and Canada international Buchanan has been scouted by the Nerazzurri this season and could leave Belgium for €15m, but Spezia‘s Holm is also monitored by Inter’s club directors.

Dumfries joined Inter in a €15m deal including add-ons from PSV in 2021 and has scored seven goals in 75 appearances with the Serie A giants.
