Francesco Guidolin has asked Swansea City to sign Chievo striker Alberto Paloschi for €10m.
Atalanta are also known to be interested in Paloschi, who grew up in the Milan youth academy and was referred to as a young Pippo Inzaghi.
So far Chievo have rejected Atalanta’s offer, believed to be worth €7m plus €1m bonuses.
Sky Sport Italia suggest Swansea have raised their proposal to €8m plus €2m bonuses.
Swansea had already been linked with Paloschi before Guidolin was appointed as their new manager.
