Milan’s Suso would prefer President Silvio Berlusconi not to sell the club, but would understand if he did.

The former Italian Prime Minister continues to hold talks with a Chinese consortium over the sale of the Rossoneri, but the deal has become engulfed in delays amid doubts over the perspective buyers’ funding.

“I think that the question over the ownership has a lot of issues that we don’t know about,” Suso told Sky Sport.

“It would be better if Berlusconi could stay but if he sells it is because he thinks it is best for the club, the best situation possible.”

The attacking midfielder also discussed his own situation at San Siro and is pleased by the arrival of new Coach Vincenzo Montella.

“I think that this year might be different to last year and I think I have improved. For me it can be an advantage having Montella as Coach he because he likes to play the ball around.”
