Atalanta President Antonio Percassi has insisted that surviving in Serie A remains his club’s ‘No 1 objective’ but admitted the Coppa Italia is ‘feasible’.

Atalanta achieved their best-ever finish of fourth in 2016-17, reached the Europa League last 32 last season and are on course for another top-six campaign under Gian Piero Gasperini, despite regularly selling their best players.

“Our No 1 objective is to avoid relegation,” Percassi told ANSA.

“The Champions League is probably ahead of us and remains a dream, but the Coppa Italia could be feasible.”
