De Sciglio, still just 20, has had an injury plagued start to the new season seeing as he has appeared in just one of the club’s first four official games.

It is being reported that the Italian international could remain on the sidelines for the next two months.

Meanwhile, right-back Ignazio Abate picked up a muscle strain with the Italian national side and he will undergo further exams in around eight to 10 days times.
