News agency ANSA reports the Nerazzurri statement after the Board of Directors meeting that took place this morning.
Inter announced the new badge for 2021-22 and onwards and the statement released by the club revealed the board approved of a loss of €62.7m for the period July to December 2020.
ANSA writes the owners reiterated that they will ‘continue to guarantee the financial support that the club never lacked’, despite the pressing times and rumours of a change in ownership.
“The consolidated half-yearly economic situation for the period July 1 to December 31, 2020, shows that the Group has achieved a loss of €62.7m, compared to a loss of €32.7m in the same period of the previous fiscal year,” the statement continued.
“The losses were therefore contained, considering the global pandemic, and mainly due to the zeroing of stadium revenues compared to the figure for the comparative semester of the previous years due to the dispute of home games behind closed doors this season.
“The increase in amount of wages for registered personnel also influenced the losses.”
