Despite this, wholesale changes are expected to be made after Rudi Garcia’s side fell off the pace hugely in the second half of this season.

Il Tempo reports that in defence only Kostas Manolas and Alessandro Florenzi are guaranteed spots for next season.

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Davide Astori will be put on the market while midfielders Seydou Keita and Miralem Pjanic could also be leaving.

Even club icon Daniele De Rossi could be sacrificed, as he is reportedly interested in a move to the MLS and Kevin Strootman appears to be the only certainty to stay of the midfielders.

The newspaper believes that Francesco Totti and Juan Iturbe will remain but that all the other Giallorossi forwards, including Gervinho, are up for discussion.
