Napoli confirmed defender Faouzi Ghoulam underwent a successful operation at the Villa Stuart clinic this afternoon.
The Algeria international was subbed off in the first half of the 3-1 win over Bologna on Sunday and the Partenopei announced he had sustained a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament.
The Azzurri have now confirmed today’s surgery was successful for the 30-year-old.
