After training this morning, Barcelona forward Luis Suarez reportedly travelled to Perugia for his Italian exam.

The Pistolero will, according to multiple reports in Italy, undergo a B1 Italian exam in Perugia, a compulsory and preparatory step for obtaining an Italian passport.

The deal with Juventus has reportedly collapsed due to the passport delay and the Uruguay international would not have the required documents in time to be registered as a European player in the Champions League.

The deal with Juventus has reportedly collapsed due to the passport delay and the Uruguay international would not have the required documents in time to be registered as a European player in the Champions League.

But La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttomercatoweb reveal the Barca striker will carry out the exam today.

Suarez had reportedly reached an agreement with Juventus and signed up for the Italian test before the complications stalled the move to the Allianz Stadium.

Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the forward, who could end up staying at Barcelona in 2020-21, but could then have the required documents prepared for a possible Serie A move in January.
