Stuttgart now have a verbal agreement with Atalanta over the transfer of La Dea’s most expensive signing ever, El Bilal Toure, according to reports on Sunday afternoon.

Stuttgart have verbal agreement with Atalanta for Toure

The Bundesliga outfit have agreed to pay Atalanta a fee of around €18m according to reports from European transfer experts Samir Djabali and Fabrizio Romano.

The deal is likely to be structured as an initial one-year loan move, with an obligation to buy later in the season.

The Malian striker agreed to a set of personal terms with Stuttgart at the beginning of the month. He will sign a five-year contract in Germany if the deal does go through.

Toure had also been linked with a move to the Premier League to join AFC Bournemouth at some stages of the summer window, but the Cherries eventually opted for Porto’s Evanilson as a replacement for new Tottenham signing Dominic Solanke.

The former Almeira striker joined Atalanta last summer in a deal worth a reported €30m, which is still the most that the club have ever spent on a new signing.

His arrival came shortly after the club carried out their most expensive sale, which was Rasus Hojlund to Manchester United, raising upwards of €75m.

  1. At no stage has he even looked like a 5million player. These kind of transfer mistakes always happen when clubs suddenly have money to burn.
