Strootman set for Genoa move

Former Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman is set to complete a loan move to Genoa and is expected to undergo his medical examinations on Monday, according to reports in Italy.

Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport claim the 30-year-old has reached an agreement with the Grifone and the paper adds the former Roma star could undergo his medical examinations on Monday.

Strootman will join Genoa on loan until the end of the season from Marseille.

He scored 13 goals in 131 appearances with Roma between 2013 and 2018.
