Andrea Stramaccioni hailed Udinese for holding out with 10 men in a 2-2 draw at Sampdoria.
“It wasn’t easy to keep the result in the balance to the end when we went down to 10 men against this great Sampdoria side,” the Coach told reporters.
“Today we introduced some new players and Geijo did very well in setting up teammates as well as scoring his goal.
“It’s a shame, as at the end we hit the woodwork and had the opportunity to win it.”

Stramaccioni’s assistant manager Dejan Stankovic was sent off for dissent.
“I think it was a misunderstanding.”
