Marco Storari says he’s ‘optimistic’ he’ll be offered a new contract with Juventus before the end of the season.

The 38-year-old’s current deal expires at the end of the season, and despite his status as backup to Gigi Buffon, the former Genoa man wants to extend his stay in Turin.

“I don’t think there will be any problems with the renewal,” Storari told Sky.

“For my part, I’ve made myself available. I’m mature, and I offer enthusiasm. Also, I can give advice in the dressing room.
