Stoke City’s assistant manager has revealed that his club are considering a shock move for Bayern Munich's Xherdan Shaqiri too.
The Swiss international has been heavily linked with Inter in recent reports, with the Nerazzurri meeting the German club today to up their offer in competition with Liverpool.

However, assistant to manager Mark Hughes, Mark Bowen, has now admitted that his side Stoke are also in the running
“To get a good player like him on board would be fantastic,” the Coach has told BBC Radio Stoke.
“There are other clubs interested, but it doesn’t mean we rule ourselves out. He’s definitely on the list, but there is competition for a player of his ability.
‘There’s many boxes to tick, not least the financial side of it, and with Shaqiri coming from one of the best clubs in the world, there’s a lot of persuasion to get it done.”
