Muriel was taken to hospital and underwent tests, but Tuttomercatoweb assure they came back negative, so there is no serious head trauma.
He was left with a nasty cut that required stitches and obviously is out of tonight’s match.
However, it’s believed Muriel will be available by the weekend for the next Serie A game against Hellas Verona.
Atalanta released a brief statement this afternoon.
“Atalanta BC confirm that, following a domestic accident, the player Luis Muriel will not be available for the Atalanta-Brescia match.
“The player will be regularly at the disposal of the club for the training session tomorrow on July 15.”
