“Regardless of how the game goes, I can confirm we will fight to the end and we have to do that in every game, because it’s a very tight league,” the President told RMC Sport radio.

“We believe that in March we have every chance of challenging to keep our Serie A slot. This match is more of a shop window. We have so much to learn from a club like Juventus, as Frosinone want to become a stable figure in the top flight. We can’t just be content to play in Serie B and I believe Frosinone have what it takes to fill that role.”

The Canarini have already taken a huge step forward by building their own stadium, as only Juventus, Udinese and Frosinone currently control their arenas in Serie A.

“Our performance against Sampdoria last week certainly got people’s attention, including Max Allegri, but we need to put in the performance of a lifetime this evening just to emerge from Turin with dignity. It’s going to be very difficult.

“What our Coach Marco Baroni is trying to transmit to the team is mentality and organisation. He worked at Juventus, so he knows the importance of organisation and a long-term project.”
