Nantes and Poland international striker Mariusz Stepinski is close to joining Chievo Verona, claim Sky Sport Italia.
The 22-year-old centre-forward had also been linked with Brescia in Serie B, but opted for the top-flight club.
He is believed to be on his way towards Italy for a medical.
Stepinski joined FC Nantes from Ruch Chorzow a year ago for €2m, while his previous clubs are Widzew Lodz, Nuremberg and Wisla Krakow.
Last season he scored 10 goals with four assists in 31 competitive games for Nantes.
