Frosinone boss Roberto Stellone admits their defeat “let Carpi back in” to the race for safety with two errors.
They are now only one point clear of their fellow Serie A newbies following today’s 2-1 result.
“Frosinone weren’t as impressive as last week, but it was still a decent performance and we were penalised by only two errors on the goals,” Stellone told Rai Sport.

“It’s really disappointing, as the draw would’ve been the fair result. With one point we could’ve moved closer to Udinese. It was important not to lose today, because now we’ve let Carpi back in.
“Now Carpi believe in their chances of safety, but so do we. I’d play it again the same way, because we generally did well, it was just that late penalty that really hurt us.”
