“This is a very difficult game because Roma need points. They are a different team since hiring Luciano Spalletti, but we are coming off an excellent result against Atalanta,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“We must have faith and won’t give up. It can happen that the sides ahead of us in the table manage a run of two points in seven rounds and then we can catch them.
“I understand some fans are losing confidence, but look at how badly Napoli and Juventus started the campaign, yet they are now the top two. They rediscovered their enthusiasm and we must try to find ours.
“This is a great chance tomorrow, because on paper Roma are favourites, but we must try to make the most of their tension.
“Roma have a lot of quality and move the ball around well, but we can out-run them. We will play with the 4-3-3 system and try to surprise them on the counter-attack, while in other moments of the match press them higher.
“We had our best away performance of the season against Lazio, so hopefully the Stadio Olimpico will bring us luck again.”
Stellone has more than a few injury problems, as Frosinone are without Oliver Kragl, Massimiliano Carlini, Roberto Crivello, Aleksandar Tonev and Samuele Longo.
Mirko Gori is suspended, but new signing Francesco Bardi gets his first call.
Frosinone squad for Roma: Bardi, Leali, Zappino; Ajeti, Bertoncini, Blanchard, M Ciofani, Diakitè, Pavlovic, Rosi, Russo; Chibsah, Frara, Gucher, Sammarco; D Ciofani, Dionisi, Paganini, Soddimo
