Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has admitted that he is happy with his current form at the club.

But the Netherlands international, who has been recalled to the starting XI for both club and country, has revealed his pleasure at getting back on the pitch.

“At the moment I am doing fine,” he told Sport Promotion. “I am certainly on the right track.

“My goal was to regain my place, and I have done that.

“I am happy again.”
