Probable Serie A line-ups: Genoa vs. Atalanta and Juventus vs. Cagliari

It’s been quite a tough year for the Bianconeri, who saw their nine-year domestic domination end.

Their former coach Antonio Conte won the Scudetto in charge of Inter, while the Old Lady managed to qualify for the Champions League on the last day of Serie A 2020-21.

Andrea Pirlo won both the Italian Supercup and the Coppa Italia but was sacked in the summer with Max Allegri returning to the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus have collected 31 points in 18 games this term (9W, 4D, 5L) and will end 2021 with at least ten defeats, the highest since 2010.

They’ve also conceded 42 goals since January 2021, their worst defensive record since 2010, when they conceded 52 under Alberto Zaccheroni and Luigi Delneri.
