Milan have a serious problem in their approach to games, as for the third match in a row they have gone into the half-time break trailing 2-0.

The Rossoneri had a disastrous start to tonight’s trip to the Stadio Olimpico, conceding from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic at the fourth minute and then a second from Mattia Zaccagni at the 38th.

This means for the third game in a row, Stefano Pioli’s men have gone into the break on the negative end of a 2-0 scoreline.

They had the same result against Lecce, fighting back for a 2-2 draw at the Stadio Via del Mare, and in the Supercoppa Italiana with Inter, where they went on to lose 3-0 in Riyadh.

Milan have conceded the opening goal in each of the last four matches between Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

Their defence is also a huge problem, not helped by the absence of injured goalkeeper Mike Maignan, as in all competition this season they have kept only six clean sheets.

The most recent game without conceding a goal was the 0-0 away to bottom of the table Cremonese on November 8.
