Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling and Memphis Depay are among the stars who have come out in defence of Juventus’ Moise Kean after he was racially abused.
Kean had already been insulted throughout Juve’s 2-0 victory at the Sardegna Arena on Tuesday evening.
When he scored in the 85th minute, he stood arms outstretched in front of the ultras behind the net, sparking even more furious and openly racist abuse from the stands.

Miralem Pjanic and Giorgio Chiellini stood in solidarity with their teammate after the game, but Leonardo Bonucci and – to a lesser extent – Max Allegri claimed the Italy starlet had provoked the Cagliari fans.
“I support every fight against racism, we’re all equal,” posted Pogba on Instagram.
“Good Italians wake up, you can’t let a small group of racists speak for you.”
Depay tweeted: It’s a shame we still talk about racism in 2019! But we have to speak up! We [are] all equal!”
However, arguably the most compelling message came from Sterling, who has already called out the Press in England for ‘fuelling racism’.
“The blame is 50-50, Leonardo Bonucci. All you can do now is laugh,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
