The first leg of the Europa League tie ended 2-2 in Serbia and the decider is tomorrow evening at the ex-Inter player’s old hunting ground.
“If you’d told me a year ago that I’d come here with my team to play a European knockout match at San Siro against Milan, I’d tell you it was a dream come true,” Stankovic told Sky Sport Italia.

“We were rewarded in the first leg for our courage, as we put in a great performance against a fantastic Milan side, who I would put in Europe’s top 10 right now.
“They are challenging for the Scudetto and have so much talent. I am proud of my lads and what they did to fight back in the first leg, even down to 10 men.
“We’ve come here now with a little bit of hope, and where there’s hope, there’s life.”
