Squizzi pens Chievo extension

Chievo Verona have extended the contract of veteran goalkeeper Lorenzo Squizzi.

The custodian, who will be 37 next week, has signed a contract extension until June 2012.

Squizzi will again act as a reserve to first choice net-minder Stefano Sorrentino.

Squizzi started his career at Juventus, but joined Chievo in the summer of 2005 after spells at nine different clubs.

He's played in 82 League games for the Flying Donkeys during his time at the Stadio Bentegodi, conceding 87 goals in the process.
