It’s rumoured Tottenham have offered £7m for Catania defender Nicolas Spolli and Genoa bid for Gonzalo Bergessio.
Catania are in the thick of the transfer gossip on deadline day at the ATA Hotel in Milan, where all the clubs have their negotiation booths.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Spurs have made a £7m offer for Argentina international defender Spolli.
The 30-year-old has been in Sicily for four seasons and is strong in the air, scoring six goals in 118 official games for Catania.
It’s reported the player is pushing for this move to go through or at least using it as a bargaining chip to bump up his current wages.
Catania are also considering a proposal from Genoa for striker Bergessio, according to SportItalia.
He has been linked with several clubs in Serie A, including Roma and Inter.
