Gabriel Barbosa’s agent has confirmed that talks are under way for the Inter forward to join Sporting CP.
Reports emerged on Thursday that Gabigol was open to joining Sporting on loan, and Wagner Ribeiro corroborated those claims.
“We’re talking to President Bruno de Carvalho,” the representative told Record. “We’ll see if we can close the deal.”

Inter paid Santos €29.5m for the young forward last summer, but he did not manage a single Serie A start, having only being given a handful of substitute appearances.
