“At times there are deals that must be done,” President Bruno de Carvalho told Sporting TV.
“And if there is the opportunity to do a deal that doesn’t put our objectives into doubt, then Sporting must be ready to listen to proposals.”
The Portugal international had his heart set on Inter for several weeks, even after Roberto Mancini was replaced on the bench by Frank de Boer.
