Spinazzola

Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola said he’s entering the ‘most important month’ after the injury at the Euros. ‘I have to improve the quality of the foot movement’.

The Giallorossi defender spoke to Canale 5 about the minutes after the injury he suffered in the quarter-final against Belgium at the Euros and the moment he hopped to collect the medal after Italy beat England on penalties in the Final at Wembley.

Spinazzola: ‘I feel like a lion’

Spinazzola revealed he is ‘getting better’ and ‘works hard’ for a swift return to action, but is aware that the upcoming month could be ‘the most important’ so far.

“I’m fine, I’m getting better,” Spinazzola told Verissimo on Canale 5. “I’m working hard. This month is the most important one, now there’s more quality in the work, before it was more quantity.

“Now, I have to improve the quality of the foot movement. I have put down the crutches for four weeks, I’m starting to walk again.”

  1. God bless this player.

He was the best player in the euros before his injury

With a big contract waiting for him, things turned sour, and that opportunity left.
I can only wish and hope Spinna the best rest of his career. Seems like a really nice guy too

  2. He was great during the Euro’s for Italy. May he come back stronger physically mentally, a better football player and injury free career going forward. 💪
