Roma had hoped to play Matteo Politano against Parma, but his transfer has been delayed by Leonardo Spinazzola’s Inter medical.
Both players are valued at approximately €25m and had their medicals this morning.
Their signatures were expected on the contracts, but Sky Sport Italia claim that now won’t happen until tomorrow morning because Spinazzola requires more tests.

This should not be anything particularly serious, nor put the swap deal at risk, but the timing means Politano cannot be available for Thursday’s Coppa Italia Round of 16 tie with Parma.
It is a return to the Capital for Politano, who is from the Eternal City and started his career in the Giallorossi youth academy.
As for Spinazzola, he only joined Roma over the summer from Juventus as part of an exchange deal with Luca Pellegrini.
