“I feel good, I used the last few days to work on training and get back into shape,” Spinazzola told Roma TV.

“Every game is important this season, so we are not thinking about what it could mean for the table now. We have to take it one game at a time and in April we’ll see where we are.”

Spinazzola famously was on the verge of a transfer to Inter in January 2020, before the Nerazzurri pulled the plug at the last minute.

He also scored his first Serie A goal against Inter, adding to the spice of this fixture.

“I just hope for a victory today, even if I play badly, it doesn’t matter!”
