The Scudetto seems the Partenopei’s to lose now and these Spezia vs. Napoli predictions suggest that another three points will go the way of Luciano Spalletti’s men this weekend.

Spezia vs. Napoli odds

1 – Napoli to win – 4/11

2 – Over 2.5 goals scored – 4/6

3 – Both teams not to score – 4/5

4 – Victor Osimhen to score at any time – 6/5

5 – Napoli to win to nil – 5/4

When Giovanni Simeone fired the ball into the Roma net with just under five minutes to play on Sunday evening, fans of Milan, Inter and Lazio must have realised that something drastic now needs to happen for Napoli not to claim their first Scudetto in 33 years.

Beating Roma at home did not automatically hand Luciano Spalletti’s side the championship. But it did give them an imposing 13-point lead going into this match day. A victory away at Spezia will now be expected as well.

The odds will not be too attractive but it seems unlikely that Spezia will be able to handle the pace and talent of the Napoli attack – and it would not be a surprise if Victor Osimhen gets on the scoresheet once again.

Spezia have brought in Uzbeki international Eldor Shomurodov to help bolster their attack and keep the club up this season. Back-to-back defeats have followed a relatively good run of form and Luca Gotti will hope that his new man can help with one of the worst goal scoring records in the league.

The home side have now scored just once in the last four Serie A games but will do well to get past a Napoli defence that does not always get the credit that it deserves, thanks to the exploits of the attacking players.

This seems like it will be a fairly easy three points for Napoli to pick up, extending the lead in the league table to a surely insurmountable 16 points.

Spezia vs. Napoli line-ups

Spezia team news

Luca Gotti is still struggling with a long injury list and will need Daniel Maldini to come into the side for the injured Viktor Kovalenko. Emmanuel Gyasi is also suspended, so we may see Eldor Shomurodov make his first appearance for the club.

Napoli team news

There doesn’t seem to be much need for Luciano Spalletti to tinker with his starting line-up here. His first choice XI have been doing so well – and the subs then carry that good form on when given the chance.
