Spezia have announced six players and one staff member have tested positive for COVID-19 and have thus suspended all sporting activities.
The official statement was issued by the Aquilotti, who confirmed all activities are suspended.
“La Spezia Calcio announce that the last round of swabs carried out by the team group highlighted the positivity for COVID-19 of six players and a staff member,” the club wrote in an official statement.
“Therefore, the club, in constant contact with the ASL of Bolzano, inform that as a precaution, the sporting activity is temporarily suspended and the whole team group will remain in isolation following the procedures provided for by the health protocol.”
